Built in high flow pump - Controls flow rate.
Two air detectors - One at the inflow detects, and alerts the user, if out of fluid. The other air detector checks for air in the fluid line before it enters the patient.
Positive air removal - At any air detection, system valve automatically closes the line to the patient and pumps air back to the reservoir. With a touch of a button, the system is pumping and warming again.
Line pressure monitoring - System alarms and advises user when infusion line is kinked or blocked.
Super efficient heat exchanger- System warms even 10°C fluid to 37.5°C at all flow rates from 10 ml/min to 1,000 ml/min with dry heat - no water bath.
Infrared temperature sensors - Measure temperature without contact with the infusate.
Display - Shows flow rate, total volume infused, temperature and line pressure.
Ease-of-use - The display screen prompts the user through the set-up, system prime, and the patient line prime. Also, if alarm occurs, it shows alarm message with pictorial diagrams assisting with troubleshooting.
